Phoneticus®
Agreement
This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“User”) and Phoneticus® (“Company”) regarding the use of the Phoneticus® application (“Application”).
By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to the terms of this Agreement.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Application.

License
The Company grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Application on your compatible devices according to the rules and conditions of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
The Application is licensed, not sold.
You may use Phoneticus® for personal and educational purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the Application or its content without prior written permission from the Company.
Intellectual Property
All original content created for Phoneticus®, including the application design, interface, phonemic chart designs, educational structure, original texts, and original voice recordings, remains the property of Phoneticus® or is used under appropriate rights and licences.
Some third-party materials included in the application (such as selected sound effects, reference definitions, or other licensed resources) remain the property of their respective creators or rights holders and are used according to their applicable licences.
All rights are reserved.
Third-Party Services
The Application may rely on services provided by third parties, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, for distribution and purchase management.
These services operate according to their own terms and privacy policies.
Phoneticus® is not responsible for the operation or privacy practices of third-party services.
Updates
The Company may update the Application from time to time to improve features, compatibility, performance, or educational resources.
Updates may modify or add features while preserving the educational purpose of the Application.
Disclaimer
Phoneticus® is provided as an educational tool designed to support pronunciation learning and phonetic understanding.
The Company does not guarantee that use of the Application will produce a specific level of language proficiency, accent modification, or learning result, as progress depends on individual practice and learning conditions.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Phoneticus® shall not be liable for indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Application.
Nothing in this Agreement limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
Termination
You may stop using Phoneticus® at any time by deleting the Application from your device.
The Company may terminate this Agreement if the Application is used in violation of these terms.
Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of France, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in your country of residence.

Privacy Policy
Your Privacy Matters
Phoneticus® has been designed with privacy as a fundamental principle.
The Application does not require the creation of an account and does not collect personal information from users.
Phoneticus® does not use advertising trackers, analytics services, or user profiling systems.
Data Collection
Phoneticus® does not collect:
• Name
• Email address
• Location data
• Usage history
• Personal identifiers
• Voice recordings
• Personal documents or files
The Application does not transmit your recorded voice or pronunciation exercises to any external server.
Voice recording features are designed to allow personal pronunciation practice directly on your device.
Offline Use
Phoneticus® is designed to function primarily offline.
Most educational resources, audio recordings, and learning materials are stored locally on your device.
An internet connection may only be required for services related to downloading, purchasing, or updating the Application through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Voice Recording
If you use pronunciation recording features, audio is used only for the purpose of allowing you to listen to and compare your own pronunciation.
Phoneticus® does not upload, store, analyse, or share your voice recordings.
Purchases
Purchases made through the Application are processed by Apple or Google according to their own payment systems and privacy policies.
Phoneticus® does not receive or store your payment card information.
Website Privacy
The Phoneticus® website is designed without visitor tracking systems or advertising analytics.
No personal visitor profile is created.
Children’s Privacy
Phoneticus® does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any user.
Because the Application does not collect personal data, no personal information is stored or processed.
Your Rights Under GDPR
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), users located in the European Union have rights regarding personal data.
Since Phoneticus® does not collect personal data, there is generally no personal information held by the Company to access, modify, or delete.
